Summer School: Health & PE & Personal Finance
Health 2 (.5 Unit)
with Staff

Grade 12 ONLY. 2 hours a day until course is completed or session ends.
HEALTH and SAFETY - Students will be required to pass for graduation a one semester, comprehensive health course. Focus will be on examination of lifestyles and making responsible decisions leading to total wellness of the individual family. Topics will include, but are not limited to, substance abuse, HIV/AIDS prevention education, family living, nutrition, consumer information, and stress and coping skills.
Physical Education (PE) .5 Unit
with Staff

2 hours a day until session ends.
Physical Education can only be selected ONCE per Summer School Program.
Students will be encouraged to develop an optimum level of health-related physical fitness, acquire knowledge of fitness concepts, and understand the significance of lifestyle upon one's health and fitness. The course will also provide an overview of physical education activities available in the instructional program.
